Three-number reconciliation

Find where the difference appears.

The workbook keeps the transaction ledger, the platform-reported payout and the actual bank deposit separate. This avoids treating three different figures as if they should always be identical.

  1. Record salesEnter buyer-paid totals, remitted tax, refunds and actual order-level fees from current platform records.
  2. Reconcile payoutsDocument account-level charges, credits or reserve movements and compare the expected amount with the platform payout.
  3. Confirm depositsCompare the reported payout with what reached the bank, then review product contribution and monthly profit.

Actual records, not temporary fee assumptions.

The workbook intentionally does not hard-code Etsy or Gumroad fee percentages because platform fees vary by country, payment method, currency, advertising source and account status, and can change. It totals the actual values you enter from current reports. It does not connect to a platform or bank, import transactions, calculate or file taxes, determine classifications or replace source statements and qualified accounting, tax, legal or financial advice. Use one reporting currency per workbook and never store passwords, API keys, tax IDs or banking credentials.
